Bob Marley – One Love

Bugün Bob Marley’in doğum günü. Bunun hakkında bir şey yazmak istemedim. Blogumdaki efsaneler konseptini kullanarak kendisini anmak istedim yalnızca. Malum, kendisi de bir EFSANE.

Bob Marley’i çok da dinlemiyorum aslında. Ama klipteki şarkı sürekli dilime takılanlardan. Sanırım kolay sözlere sahip olması bunda bir etken. One Love şarkısının klibinde dönemin ünlüleri de oynamış. Benim tek tanıdığım Paul Mccartney. İnternetten biraz araştırdım diğerleri kimdir diye, şöyle isimler çıktı: Bananarama grubunun iki üyesi, Suggs ve Chas Smash of Madness.

one love! one heart!
let’s get together and feel all right.
hear the children cryin’ (one love!);
hear the children cryin’ (one heart!),
sayin’: give thanks and praise to the lord and i will feel all right;
sayin’: let’s get together and feel all right. wo wo-wo wo-wo!

let them all pass all their dirty remarks (one love!);
there is one question i’d really love to ask (one heart!):
is there a place for the hopeless sinner,
who has hurt all mankind just to save his own beliefs?

one love! what about the one heart? one heart!
what about – ? let’s get together and feel all right
as it was in the beginning (one love!);
so shall it be in the end (one heart!),
all right!
give thanks and praise to the lord and i will feel all right;
let’s get together and feel all right.
one more thing!

let’s get together to fight this holy armagiddyon (one love!),
so when the man comes there will be no, no doom (one song!).
have pity on those whose chances grows t’inner;
there ain’t no hiding place from the father of creation.

sayin’: one love! what about the one heart? (one heart!)
what about the – ? let’s get together and feel all right.
i’m pleadin’ to mankind! (one love!);
oh, lord! (one heart) wo-ooh!

give thanks and praise to the lord and i will feel all right;
let’s get together and feel all right.
give thanks and praise to the lord and i will feel all right;
let’s get together and feel all right. /fadeout/

Michael Jackson – Billie Jean

she was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
i said don’t mind, but what do you mean i am the one
who will dance on the floor in the round
she said i am the one who will dance on the floor in the round
2nd verse
she told me her name was billie jean, as she caused a scene
then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
who will dance on the floor in the round

people always told me be careful of what you do
and don’t go around breaking young girls’ hearts
and mother always told me be careful of who you love
and be careful of what you do ’cause the lie becomes the truth

billie jean is not my lover
she’s just a girl who claims that i am the one
but the kid is not my son
she says i am the one, but the kid is not my son

for forty days and forty nights
the law was on her side
but who can stand when she’s in demand
her schemes and plans
’cause we danced on the floor in the round
so take my strong advice, just remember to always think twice
(do think twice)

she told my baby that¡¯s a threat
as she looked at me
then showed a photo of a baby cries
eyes would like mine
go on dance on the floor in the round, baby

people always told me be careful of what you do
and don’t go around breaking young girls’ hearts
she came and stood right by me
then the smell of sweet perfume
this happened much too soon
she called me to her room

billie jean is not my lover
she’s just a girl who claims that i am the one
but the kid is not my son
billie jean is not my lover
she’s just a girl who claims that i am the one
but the kid is not my son
she says i am the one, but the kid is not my son
she says i am the one, but the kid is not my son
billie jean is not my lover
she’s just a girl who claims that i am the one
but the kid is not my son
she says i am the one, but the kid is not my son
she says i am the one, she says he is my son
she says i am the one
billie jean is not my lover
billie jean is not my lover
billie jean is not my lover
billie jean is not my lover
billie jean is not my lover
billie jean is not my lover

Pink Floyd – Another Brick In The Wall

Pink Floyd – Another Brick In The Wall
by djoik

Pink Floyd aksini iddia etse de bence “Another Brick In The Wall” şarkısıyla Türk eğitim sistemini anlatmışlar. Ne eksik ne fazla. Klipteki öğretmenin yerine bir Türk koy, bitti gitti işte.

Klipteki sözler şöyle. Klipteki diyorum çünkü iki şarkı karışık:

Önce “The Happiest Days of Our Lives” şarkısıyla başlıyor klip.

when we grew up and went to school
there were certain teachers
who would hurt the children in any way they could
by pouring their derision
upon anything we did
exposing every weakness
however carefully hidden by the kids

but in the town it was well known
when they got home at night
their fat and psychopathic wives would thrash them
within inches of their lives

Sonra “Another Brick In The Wall” giriyor:

we don’t need no education
we dont need no thought control
no dark sarcasm in the classroom
teachers leave them kids alone
hey! teachers! leave them kids alone!
all in all it’s just another brick in the wall.
all in all you’re just another brick in the wall.

we don’t need no education
we dont need no thought control
no dark sarcasm in the classroom
teachers leave them kids alone
hey! teachers! leave us kids alone!
all in all it’s just another brick in the wall.
all in all you’re just another brick in the wall.

Klibin sonunda çocuğun baktığı fotoğraf, çalan telefon. Ne anlatılıyor acaba?

Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody

is this the real life?
is this just fantasy?
caught in a landslide,
no escape from reality
open your eyes, look up to the skies and see,
i’m just a poor boy, i need no sympathy,
because i’m easy come, easy go, little high, little low,
any way the wind blows doesn’t really matter to me, to me

mama just killed a man,
put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he’s dead
mama, life had just begun,
but now i’ve gone and thrown it all away
mama, ooh, didn’t mean to make you cry,
if i’m not back again this time tomorrow,
carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

too late, my time has come,
sends shivers down my spine, body’s aching all the time
goodbye, ev’rybody, i’ve got to go,
gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
mama, ooh, i don’t want to die,
i sometimes wish i’d never been born at all

i see a little silhouetto of a man,
scaramouche, scaramouche, will you do the fandango
thunderbolt and lightning, very, very fright’ning me
(galileo) galileo (galileo) galileo, galileo figaro
magnifico i’m just a poor boy and nobody loves me
he’s just a poor boy from a poor family,
spare him his life from this monstrosity
easy come, easy go, will you let me go
bismillah! no we will not let you go
(let him go!) bismillah! we will not let you go
(let him go!) bismillah! we will not let you go
(let me go) will not let you go
(let me go) will not let you go (let me go) ah
no, no, no, no, no, no, no
(oh mama mia, mama mia) mama mia, let me go
beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me

so you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
so you think you can love me and leave me to die
oh, baby, can’t do this to me, baby,
just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here

nothing really matters, anyone can see,
nothing really matters,
nothing really matters to me

any way the wind blows
